A Brief Introduction

Media culture for feeding our cells

“We build products that accelerate the development of new drugs.”

In the US each new drug development costs close to $1 billion. Genicell is developing products that simulate the blood-brain barrier in both human and animal cells. Our system uses custom built bioreactors to grow blood vessels allowing drug companies to administer tests that are currently conducted on live animals. Genicell's bioreactors are a more humane solution that allow pharmaceutical companies to test drugs faster, in a more controlled environment, and at a much lower cost.
